Dear Richard,
I forgot to bring my check with me when I picked up my car. This may be a small thing to you, but to me, it is a great importance. Rarely do we meet an honest man such as you.
To this man , This honest man, we take the extra step to do what we say. Therefore my check is enclosed, if the amount is not sufficient, please let me know. I wrote it immediately upon returning to my home.
It is all to clear to me that you could have done any number of things to generate a bill in excess of $1000, and in many cases not even have done the work. You didn’t!
I often wonder that your integrity is not a thing of the past, you give me hope. My father told me in his days of business. The times that business was done on a handshake and the times when a man gave his word, he kept it. No matter what!
